Martin J. Harris, MD, received his bachelor's degree in Biology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI, in 2002. He subsequently served in the Army, performing medical research on therapeutics for malaria and other infectious diseases. He received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD in 2011 elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Harris completed his internship and dermatology residency at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and served as chief resident his final year. Following residency, Dr. Harris served on active duty in the Army for another seven years with several assignments stateside and deployed overseas. His military awards include a Bronze Star for Meritorious Service in a combat zone. Dr. Harris has published articles and lectured at several local and regional medical conferences. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Harris completed his military service in 2022 and settled in Colorado Springs with his wife and four young children.
