EFFECTIVE MARCH 23, 2020
Our regular hours of operation may vary during this time.
Dear Patient Family,
Effective March 23, 2020, per D 2020 009 Executive Directive Order by Governor Jared Polis has directed a "cease of all elective and non-essential surgeries and procedures and to preserve personal protective equipment (PPE) until April 14, 2020." Our office will remain open but will limit our patient appointment to those of critical or urgent as outlined by the Directive and the Department of Public Health and Environment. The safety of our patients is a primary goal at the Skin Cancer and Dermatology Center. Additionally, we want to be available to serve the Colorado community and provide PPE to hospitals, urgent cares, and other health organizations that may be in greater need in the upcoming weeks. Therefore, any surgery or procedure that can be delayed " without causing undue risk to the current or future health of the patient" will be postponed. Our office will call to reschedule patients in this category. We want to reassure patients that our office always practices and maintains appropriate EPA-registered hospital-grade disinfectant protocols for our patients and employees.
Additionally, we have implemented extra steps and precautions for all our patients. The property managers have partnered with us to increase their environmental infection controls to our already rigorous protocols. Our practice will design social distancing safeguards recommended by the CDC to reduce or eliminate exposure. Our clinical team will take further steps to treat every patient with the utmost care. Our providers can offer telemedicine visits to those who feel they have an urgent condition and need to be evaluated but are unable to have a face to face encounter. Please call 719-574-0310 to schedule a telemedicine visit if required.
Our practice will continue to adjust and follow to ensure the safety of all Coloradans per the CDC and State guidelines.
Please feel free to contact us if we can assist you or your family in any way.
